NAME

     lcell_prop - LattisCell utility program to look  up  proper-
     ties in SNM Database.

SYNOPSIS

     lcell_prop objectname propertyname

DESCRIPTION

     This program reads the user's SunNet  Manager  Database  and
     extracts  the  indicated  property for the specified object,
     printing the result to stdout.  This utility program is used
     to  get  community strings, ip addresses, etc when launching
     programs from LattisCell Domain  View,  LattisCell  Expanded
     View,  and SNM Console.  It can also be used to examine hid-
     den properties (those whose names begin with an underscore).

     For objectname, specify the name of the  object  within  the
     SNM  database.   For propertyname, specify the property name
     as  found  in   the   SNM   structure   file   (e.g.,   from
     /usr/lnms/snm/struct/synoptics-lcell.schema).
